Whheeeeeeeeeere am I heading with this one, hmmmmm

weird as fuck, this situation is. I don’t like that I’m in it, but I can’t be mad at myself long enough to do something about it.

man,

i got work tomorrow…

feeeeeeels great to say that, haha. fuck being without a job for 5 months. school eats butt. summer makes everything better.

and i’m working less than last year—DEFINITELY a plus. 40 hours a week was sick! i’m a young’n, and theoretically, i have a life to live during the summertime. this summer actually might allow me to turn my incredibly pathetic social life around.

just realizing No Doubt is the band playing throughout the entire song, and it’s been one of my favorites for years. Neptunes x No Doubt. it’s perfect!

Key! - Guess Who

white girl posts this on twitter:

The fact that the girl next to me getting a pedi is black and my legs are darker than hers is lovely hahaha

that’s not lovely… also, melanoma isn’t lovely. i won’t throw shade, because for whatever reason, tanning is the norm for white women. on the other hand, black women and skin-bleaching isn’t normal at all. maybe my point is there’s something really problematic when a white girl finds joy in being “darker” than a lighter skinned black girl.

what makes that such a good thing? it may have been a joke, but why does this white girl want to be so “tan”? hmph.

"Every time you buy a pair of these canvas shoes they donate a pair to a child in need in the third world. Of course, instead of buying a pair of shoes, a white person could just donate the money they were going to use on shoes to the TOMS charity and let two people in the third world get new shoes. But that’s not a realistic possibility, not with summer right around the corner."
